ok I feel like an idiot now - been using apophysis for a couple years now and didn't realize what the transform colors tab was for :P I play with the gradients all the time, but not that one lol... thanks for this! :D

oh that happens to me all the time, i think what it is is when you upgrade, or it is so with me, that i don't explore all the functions, the new variations yes, but not the tabs etc. i looked some time ago at the old, orginal apo, my, it's come a loooooong way since then. in those days you tweaked and learned to tweak because all the fancy but cool functions were simply non-existent. hyruwen pointed out the master scale thing to me and from someones tutorial (i'm sorry to say i've forgotten whose) i learned that you can change numerical values on each selected variation just by sliding the mouse (buttonm held down) across them. i'm glad it was of use :)
